| What is going to happen to our town now that the fires or over? |

maceagle writes, "Is our town just going to be kept in the dark ages? It is a shame that our city government is not moving faster than they are. Our town is falling back every day while around us towns are building on the future."

Burnt out buildings are just sitting in our town and there is no sign of action being taken to get it cleaned up. And why have we not heard of any talk about bringing more business and JOBS to our community. Its great that the HOME of The Perfect Christmas Tree is bring an income to those that are the artist in our area. But what about those that are not working because our community is so bent on keeping things the way it is.
It is time hat we grow up and look to the future people. As long as our community keeps making this place unfriendly for our young people, and for those that want to come to this area and bring bigger and better to or area, this area is going to fail. We have to come up with the times people. I am not saying that we conform our morality; I'm saying conform this community because of our morality. This place needs jobs for the people in the community, and by not allowing business' to come in this area just because they want to serve alcohol is blast Amie in the biggest way. There are some really well known people who claim to be pillars’ of our fine community, and turn around and go to a golf course to pick up a pack of beer. Am I saying stop them from selling alcohol. On the contrary, I am saying don’t hurt others because you just think your right. Alcohol is legal and is not bad if used properly. Just like our government trying to tell us that guns are bad. I never saw a gun load itself, and say I’m going to go out and shoot someone today! I have never seen a bottle of alcohol open its top and say I’m going to dump myself down someone’s throat and make him or her drunk. What I’m getting at is don’t blame the people that use it properly.
And what is this thing about giving our children a hard time about wanting something to do. Have you forgotten the time when you were a kid and needed something to do? There is nothing in this town for our teens and little ones to do. Parents have to travel two hours away to find fun for the family. Why is this? Is because our town is child negative? What is going to happen to this town if all our children grow up, get married and move away because there is no jobs for one, and nothing for entertainment for two. Well I could go on and on, but I am going to give it a rest for a couple of days. I hope someone will respond to me, even if you disagree, at least we can get people thinking of something!
